Propeller sensors MBA808

Propeller sensor with filling function type MBA808

measures the level in the tankbulk material

andaligns its resulting cone

Advantages of a sensor with a filling function

Economical use of storage space by up to 23%

The container can be made smaller

Alignment of the flow cone without operator intervention

Standard level measurement with filling function

Use up to temperatures of + 80 ° C in the tank

Installation in existing tanks

Thanks to its properties and the special shape of the impeller blades, the impeller sensor for level measurement can perform another function than just indicating that the level has been reached. When filling the material into the hopper, a loose cone is usually formed, which blocks the possibility of filling the hopper to full capacity.

Thanks to its special drive and shape, the MBA 808 propeller sensor is able to spread the material to the edges of the tank and fill the tank up to its upper limit. The capacity of the tank will increase by up to 23%.

Basic parameters for applications:

  • bulk material such as PP and PE granules, polystyrene, grain, flour, dust, lime, etc.
  • tail range up to 1.5 m in diameter
  • drive ambient temperature -15 ° C to + 60 ° C
  • tank pressure -0.5 bar to +3.0 bar
  • standard protection in IP 65
  • power supply 24VDC / 7A

User Guide for MBA808

 Princip plnění při použití MBA808

Function description:

  • the MBA808 sensor still rotates on first contact with the hopper
  • the standard sensor reports the maximum level to end filling
  • filling takes place and the sensor with its shape spreads the material into the edges of the container
  • filling continues and the sensor aligns the material on the surface in the hopper with its shape
  • filling contines and the sensor stops by a small cone, at the same time indicating the maximum level
  • filling is completed and the sensor is stopped
  • the sensor cyclically tests whether the impeller is released according to the program settings
  • when the impeller is released, the sensor rotates again
